Privacy notice
This notice describes what personal data is processed when you visit flatrol.hu or get in touch, for what purpose, on what legal basis and for how long. In force from: 27 October 2026.

Getting in touch
Data processed: name, email address, the content of the message, the subject of the enquiry, the company name (optional), and the path of the page from which the form was sent. The IP address is not part of the form, but appears in the hosting provider's technical logs (see below).
Purpose: answering the enquiry, preparing an offer, and discussions prior to entering into a contract.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps taken at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract. Where no contract follows, the legal basis is the controller's legitimate interest in tracking enquiries, under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Retention: where no contract follows, one year from the last contact. Where a contract is concluded, data attached to accounting records is kept for eight years under Section 169 of Hungarian Act C of 2000 on accounting.
How the form works
The contact form sends the submitted data to a serverless function that runs on Vercel Inc. infrastructure in the European Union, in Frankfurt (region fra1). The function does not store the data: it forwards it by email to the controller's address through the Rackforest mail system.
The hosting provider keeps technical request logs (IP address, time, the URL requested). The purpose is operation and security, and the legal basis is the controller's legitimate interest, under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
The form contains a hidden field used solely to filter automated submissions; it collects no data about the visitor.
Analytics and cookies
The site currently uses no analytics tool, sets no cookies on the visitor's device, and uses no browser storage (localStorage, sessionStorage). Fonts are served from the site itself, so apart from the hosting provider the browser sends no requests to any other service when the site is viewed. Should this change, this notice will be updated before any measurement tool is introduced, and consent will be requested where the law requires it.

- Vercel Inc. (440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, United States). The provider serves the site and runs the function that receives the form (Frankfurt, fra1), and keeps technical logs while doing so (IP address, time, URL).
- Rackforest Informatikai Kereskedelmi Szolgaltato es Tanacsado Zrt. (Victor Hugo utca 11, 5th floor B05001, 1132 Budapest, Hungary; company reg. no. 01-10-142004). Messages sent through the form are delivered here, and incoming enquiries are stored here.
The hosting provider is a company established in the United States, so its access to the data may constitute a transfer to a third country. Transfers take place on the basis of the provider's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, together with the data processing agreement concluded with the provider and the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission.
Your rights
You may request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Send your request to daniel@flatrol.hu; it will be answered within one month at the latest.
Remedies
A complaint may be lodged with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9-11., ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu), or with the competent court.
